Programs

We are here to help you learn to grow food!

Hands-on learning
People of all gardening abilities are invited to learn and share knowledge while growing the communal food garden.

Come for a day, or come for the season. Visitors are welcome to drop by our Garden site on a Wednesday from 11am-4pm with gardening questions. View upcoming events and work parties.

Workshops and Field Trips
A series of public workshops are offered at our educational garden and greenhouse sites. Topics include organic gardening, winter gardening, seed saving, composting, pruning, and food security. See the schedule of upcoming workshops.

School classes and community groups can contact us to arrange a custom workshop or field trip in our educational gardens.

Join our e-newsletter list to be notified about upcoming workshops and Society happenings.

Plant Sales
Have a gardening question? Drop by our plant sales during May and June. Our knowledgeable volunteers will be happy to help you. We want to help you be successful in growing food. Let us help you choose a selection of vegetables that are best suited for your growing conditions and food needs.
